Computerized Delivery Sequencing (CDS) is a service of the United States Postal Service (USPS). Under CDS qualification rules, a list for a ZIP Code & Carrier Route Type may be submitted to the USPS for qualification. If that list contains at least 90% of the valid deliverable addresses based on the current USPS delivery stats file, and no more than 110% of that standard, the submitter qualifies to receive bi-monthly, in electronic format, all the addresses the USPS has on file for that zip code.

TMC Data will build a CDS file for you using the addresses you already have that will qualify as deliverable under certain postal standards, along with other addresses we add to the database. We then gain a qualification from the USPS and they provide a complete address file from their system for the ZIP Codes and Carrier Route Types for which we qualified. This file provided by the USPS is perfect and 100% deliverable based on postal standards.  The USPS provides a new complete file every 60 days as long as you continue to pay their qualification fees. You can then receive these update files directly from the USPS every 60 days for as long as you need them.
